I think it’s really important to pay attention to the world around us, and think about and discuss what’s going on.

Most weeks, on Friday, I’d like to have a look at a site called Flocabulary, where they take different topics and turn them into rap songs. They’re pretty great, and I’m sure you’ll hear a bunch of them in my class this year.

Fridays they present “This Week in Rap,” and today I’d like to start looking at those.

If you click on the lyrics that are blue, you can get more information about that event/story:

A box will pop up and will provide more information.

At the bottom of each box there’s a “Learn More” link that will take you to a news article about the event/story.

Once you get the work done, you either hand in the paper or email your finished file to misterjrobson then add the at symbol, and gmail.com. Bam!
