Getting Started on PE40F

Access to the online Phys Ed and Health programs is now open. All grade 12 students need a PE40 credit in order to graduate, and all of the work is done outside of school. It’s important that you get started on your planning and work as soon as possible.

All students must complete a signed permission slip and plan before beginning the program. Once that is returned, you need to see Mr. Robson for training and more information.

There are 3 training sessions planned for this week: Tuesday, Oct. 8 period 1, Wednesday, Oct. 9 after school, and Thursday, Oct. 10 at lunch. If you have your plan & permission slip handed in, you are welcome to attend one of these sessions. If none of these times work for you, please see Mr. Robson to set up an appointment.

The required paperwork and information is available from Mr. Robson in room 213 and on this site. Please contact Mr. Robson by filling in the form below if you have any questions or need any help. Information entered below will be sent directly to Mr. Robson and will not be seen by anyone else.

PE40F Beginning of year info

In Grade 12, you are expected to design and fulfil your own fitness plan, which will be completed outside of school. Many of the acceptable activities you are probably doing already if you are taking part in sports, intramural activities, or other active pursuits.

The online reporting system opens in October. There will be a meeting called during the second week of October which you MUST ATTEND, unless you speak to Mr. Robson in Room 213 at another time. At this time you will be given a user name and password and information on the program that you will use to log and submit your hours, which should lead to you getting your Phys Ed credit for this year.

Below is a handout which you can look over so that you can start planning and taking part in your fitness plan for the year.

If you have any questions about this process, need any help, or just want to work on some of this, please see Mr. Robson in room 213 at lunch.

If you are under the age of 18, you will also need to have a parent sign a permission form. It is included below, and can be signed and turned in to Mr. Robson or the office any time. The sooner you get it in, the sooner you can start. Again, if you need help or have questions, please visit Room 213 at lunch.
